EVENT TIPS
Here’s a list of our “Do” and “Don’t” tips for a fun Concert on the Green!
IMPORTANT! Plan ahead. Due to circumstances beyond our control, this year’s concert will be held on the same day as the parade. Therefore, the normal practice of many, to arrive at the green early a.m. on the concert day must be delayed until 1 p.m. Things put in place before that time run the risk of being disturbed by parade attendees. Concert volunteers will be on hand through out the morning and afternoon to make sure this requirement is met.
If you are a sponsor or patron of the concert, you will be receiving special instructions from us in the mail upon receipt of your donation.
DO
- Bring chairs or blankets for the lawn
- Bring a picnic dinner
- Set up your space any time after 1:00PM
- Decorate your picnic spot
- Make a donation now or on concert day
- Put your trash and recyclables in the bins found around the Green
DON’T
- Put down tarps or stakes
- Bring alcoholic beverages
- Try to reserve your spot before 1:00PM!
- Bring fireworks or silly-string
- Forget to make a donation now or on concert day!
